What do you do in a beautiful home office when it comes to selecting the desk chair? Do you go for a very comfortable, but fairly ugly and utilitarian-looking desk chair  – OR – do you go for a very beautiful arm chair that is basically impractical and uncomfortable to sit in while working a your desk or computer? I say, have your cake and eat it, too. Get comfort, function and beauty like what we did in this home office. Here we had an uber ugly desk chair (and in fact it was ripped!) and we gave it a stunning face lift by way of…a custom slip cover. The chair still provides total, great back support and it rolls easily around the desk area. But we created this wonderful slipcover, complete with covered buttons and belt down at the back. You almost want to wear it! Remember to keep your creative and work energy high, keep those home offices functioning well, but never underestimate the “power of pretty” to make work a pleasure! XO!
