As a designer, nothing is more tragic than a beautiful space that is never used! No need to break out the sterling silver cutlery and fine china to enjoy dinner in a formal space! This month, we put together an approachably elegant Dining Room that can be used for all occasions.

We began by wrapping the walls in a neutral damask wallpaper. We then selected a rich wood dining table circled by Louis inspired dining chairs upholstered in luxurious cream velvet. Bling enters the space by way of a warm gold and crystal chandelier. Against the wall sits a stately wood buffet with an unexpected mid-century modern mirror above. An Aubusson rug and set of peach colored drapes adds a final spin.
