Home decor this year has been all about bringing the outside in. Incorporating natural elements into an interior helps create a soothing atmosphere that mimics the feeling of being outdoors. This month, we gave this trend our own fresh spin by creating a botanical bedroom that will excite the eyes and calm the mind. 

We began by coating the walls in a warm beige hue with the exception of a single lavender accent wall. In front of the accent wall sits a hand carved wood bed with coordinating bachelor chests on either side. Minimalist reading lamps sit on the bachelor chests while a soft purple area rug lies underfoot. Rich gold elements enter the space in the form of a whimsical chandelier and striking leaf-inspired mirror. A bold floral bedspread and set of accent pillows finishes off the cozy look.
