I’ve always been a sucker for a good looking Lucite leg on a piece of furniture or the right piece of acrylic furniture in the right space for the right Design Lover. Sure, we’ve all seen and loved the Louis Stark ghost chair – what’s not to love? And now, thanks to Acrila.com, acrylic furniture takes it up a fun notch. I got to spend some time with the talented acrylic furniture designer Jean Christophe Bernar while at the massive Maison & Objet interior design trade show. He’s got a great eye. Here he takes the medium a step further by adding things like printed color and pattern… Or adding fur!  (Great combo!) Having trouble figuring out where would you use any of these witty designs? Think small space living, think a young urban professionals first pad; think teenage room; think conversation piece! The scale is small and the look light and fresh.
