Eclectic interiors are all the rage these days! But how do you mix design styles without losing your marbles? This month, we’ll walk you through one example with a funky sitting room that marries modern lines with exotic décor!

When sourcing the larger furniture pieces for the space we choose items with clean, mid-century modern silhouettes. For seating, we selected a classic Eames Lounge Chair along with a sleek, armless loveseat upholstered in a striking shade of teal. In front of the loveseat, we added a glass-top cocktail table. Exotic elements were then introduced in the form of accessories. A faux zebra hide rug lies underneath the cocktail table, while two leather poufs add additional seating. A teak side table and duo of Moroccan lanterns finishes off the fun look!
